Book Blurb
"I can do that. I can pretend it didn't happen. But when he's standing this close to me, I can't deny I want to kiss him again."
Abbie Linley loves her small-town life and the horses that have always been part of it. While her friends prepare for college and new adventures, she's not ready to leave everything she loves behind.
Then Carson Daniels arrives.
As the new farrier at her family's barn, Carson is only supposed to be there to work with the horses. Falling for the owner's daughter definitely wasn't part of the plan.
With a boyfriend who no longer seems like the right person and a future filled with uncertainty, Abbie finds herself drawn to Carson more and more each day.
But summer doesn't last forever.
And neither does Carson's time in town.
A sweet and emotional small-town romance about first love, difficult choices, and finding the courage to follow your heart.

Heather kindly provided me with a complimentary audiobook copy. All opinions are my own.
There is something incredibly nostalgic about this story.
From the very beginning, Make Your Move reminded me of those unforgettable first loves—the ones that feel intense, exciting, and impossible to forget.
Abbie and Carson are genuinely lovable characters. Their chemistry feels natural, their conversations are easy to enjoy, and their relationship develops at a believable pace that makes you want to keep listening.
One thing I particularly appreciated was how grounded the story felt. There is no unnecessary drama or overly complicated plot twists. Instead, Heather Garvin focuses on creating an authentic romance between two people trying to figure out their futures while navigating unexpected feelings.
The audiobook narration also added a lot of charm to the experience and made it very easy to get immersed in the story.
While the book includes some romantic tension, the spice level remains fairly low, making it a great option for readers who enjoy sweet romances with a touch of steam rather than highly explicit scenes.
Overall, this was a heartwarming and enjoyable read that left me smiling.
If you're a fan of:
